Grant PUD’s wholesale fiber optic distribution system is at work bringing high-speed technology to Grant County schools, medical facilities, businesses and homes.
In January 2007, following a nearly two year curtailment in expansion of the fiber network, Grant PUD Commissioners directed staff to study available fiber technologies and financial options for expansion of Grant PUD’s wholesale fiber optic system.
Grant PUD continues to expand fiber optic service to homes and businesses which are located within "fiber ready" areas of the county.
