Grant PUD Announces Organizational Changes
Tony Webb promoted to assistant general manager
April 20, 2011

EPHRATA, Wash. - Grant PUD General Manager, Tim Culbertson today announced the advancement of Tony Webb to assistant general manager (AGM). Webb will join current AGM, Chuck Berrie in managing the day-to-day operations of the utility.

Webb assumes the AGM position in addition to his current role as director of customer service. Under this new organizational structure, effective April 29, the customer service and support service divisions will report directly to Webb.

In announcing this new organizational change Culbertson shared that; “This is a dynamic time in the energy industry and we must be ready to adopt new practices that help us operate more efficiently. I believe this organizational change will help us in that capacity. The combination of Tony’s years of service as well as his communication style will benefit both employees and customers alike.”

Webb has held a number of roles within Grant PUD since 1990. In his tenure he has served as both the director of human resources and of support services. In response to his new role, Webb commented that, “I’m looking forward to supporting Grant PUD in this new position. We have great employees and I am excited to continue working with them as we serve our customers.”

Grant PUD anticipates additional organizational changes in the months ahead as management continues to evaluate succession planning. A key component of that planning includes identifying critical positions that may need to be backfilled as employees retire.
