Grant PUD Dismisses Treasurer/Controller

February 14, 2007

EPHRATA - Grant Public Utility District, through its Board of Commissioners, has made the decision to terminate the employment of Mr. Nick Gerde, the District's current treasurer/controller. This decision was not made without considerable thought and deliberation. The District found certain aspects of Mr. Gerde's performance to be unacceptable and concluded that separation was in its best long-term interest. The District nevertheless is grateful for Mr. Gerde's past services and wishes him well in his future endeavors. By separate motion, the Commission appointed Jim Bunch as acting Treasurer/Controller.
