Cost of Electrical Service Analyzed
First Public Workshop Scheduled

EPHRATA, WA – Over the next four months, Grant PUD Commissioners will study costs per customer class to determine future revenue requirements for the utility. 

Commissioners and staff will rely upon the expertise of Economic and Financial Strategies, Inc. (E&FS) of Issaquah, Wash. to complete the analysis.  Three public workshops will be held with the Commission during the process to explain the plans for the study, provide a status update and present the final results.  The first workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 18.

The cost of service analysis will be completed and presented to Commissioners by October 1, 2007.

The last study was conducted in 1997.
