The Grant County PUD has been an innovator in cooperative salmon protection efforts for over 25 years. The utility’s leadership in the management of salmonid resources is exemplified by extensive efforts undertaken to monitor and mitigate fish passage. Over the last decade, the utility has invested more than $200 million in salmon protection efforts. These efforts have paid off in solutions that have contributed to the record number of returning Chinook salmon and steelhead.
