Wanapum Heritage Center

The Wanapum Heritage Center presents, maintains and continues the Wanapum History and way of life. Visitors to the museum can view numerous displays of Wanapum historical artifacts or watch videos of the Wanapum history and the Columbia River.

The Heritage Center is located next to Wanapum Dam on the Columbia River.

Repository

A repository that meets federally established curation standards is maintained within the Wanapum Heritage Center. This repository provides a secure, climate-controlled environment for Wanapum photographs and artifacts and for archaeological data and collections from the region. Curation of materials within the repository is done by means of a state-of-the-art computer database.

For additional information on the Heritage Center, the Wanapum culture and background, visit www.wanapum.org.
