Commitment to the Future
Grant PUD is committed to the protection and enhancement of the natural and cultural resources, recreation and other public uses of the Columbia River located within the Priest Rapids Project boundaries.  Grant PUD believes that the Final License Application presents reasonable and effective natural resource protection, mitigation and enhancement proposals while preserving the ability to generate low-cost, renewable hydroelectric power for Grant County residents, farms and businesses as well as millions of electric customers throughout the Northwest.  The utility will continue to be a responsible steward of the Priest Rapids Project resources while generating renewable hydroelectric power for decades to come.

Grant PUD continues our commitment to environmental stewardship with a series of programs that are already underway.  Track the status and progress of these programs by visiting our Power Generation Pages.
