2011 Auction Slice Announcement!

Grant County PUD will auction off 20.24% of Priest Rapids Project Power for delivery commencing midnight December 31, 2010 through midnight December 31, 2011, P.P.T.

Currently Grant is considering possibly auctioning off the entire 20.24% in a single slice.  If you are interested in participating in this year’s auction and would like to submit feedback on the auction slice size, we welcome your thoughts.

Pre-qualification for the upcoming auction is underway.  If you have any questions regarding collateral or guaranty requirements, please contact Brett Bergeson at Bberges@gcpud.org.

Here are some notable points of interest for this year’s auction:

• The Power Auction will be held on Thursday, November 4th, 2010 from 8a.m.-11a.m. PPT.
• Contract execution can be done on the same day if all required collateral, guarantees and other legal documentation can be provided.
• There is a new Pre-qualification Application for 2010. 
• The Pre-qualification process has started and ends October 18th, 2010.
• Feedback or suggested edits to the Open Market Auction Contract will be considered through July 30th, 2010.
• The files on this website contain data through June 20, 2010.
