Grant PUD employees embrace the challenge to balance the protection of salmon and other natural resources with the generation of clean, renewable hydroelectric power.  Staff works hand-in-hand with experts from federal, state and local agencies, Native American tribes and other stakeholders to develop protection and enhancement programs. As part of the utility’s commitment to safeguard natural and cultural resources, recreation and other public uses of the river, Grant PUD follows and complies with local, state and federal regulations.
