  • Facility development
  • Interpretation and education
  • Recreation monitoring

Recreation Program Staff
Grant PUD’s Lands and Recreation Staff is responsible for implementing the Recreation Resource Management Plan. As component of the plan, staff develops recreation project plans in coordination with user groups along with overseeing the resulting project construction.

One branch of the Lands and Recreation staff is the Lands and Recreation Crew, a seasonal group of weekend staff, who provide a presence on the lands and waters of the Priest Rapids Project. Their role encompasses: educating visitors regarding allowed land use, safety information, resource protection, prevention of site degradation and management of sustainable public use for recreation locations.
