Wanapum Heritage Center
Open year-round, the Wanapum Heritage Center presents, maintains and continues the Wanapum History and way of life. Visitors to the museum can view numerous displays of Wanapum historical artifacts or watch videos of the Wanapum history and the Columbia River.
The Heritage Center is located next to Wanapum Dam on the Columbia River.
Repository
The Wanapum Heritage Center repository cares for and manages the ethnographic, archaeological, historical, and archival collections of the Wanapum. This repository provides a secure, climate-controlled environment for Wanapum photographs and artifacts and for archaeological data and collections from the region. Curation of materials within the repository is done by means of a state-of-the-art computer database.

Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m
Dam Tours
Tours of the Wanapum Dam fish ladder are available by appointment only with two weeks advanced notice. Access to the dam is limited. Tour Guidelines (pdf)
