How to Apply
As a public utility Grant PUD seeks to maintain a qualified, service-oriented workforce. We accept applications for current openings only. Please submit a separate application for each listing of interest to you. A separate application must be submitted for each new opening, as we do not keep applications on file.
FAQs
Does the PUD make reasonable accommodations for applicants?
Yes. Grant PUD provides equal opportunities to qualified applicants with disabilities and disabled veterans. This includes reasonable accommodations for optional alternative application methods if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access our online application system as a result of your disability, and interview or test processes. If you need an accommodation, please contact Terry Kassahn – Grant PUD Human Resources at (509) 793-1569 or e-mail tkassah@gcpud.org.
How can I find out about PUD job openings?
Click on "Employment" within the gcpud.org site. You can also be automatically notified of job openings through the “Notify Me” job opening email alert option on the Careers page. Once you’ve created a job opening alert, we’ll e-mail you when a job opening occurs and you can review the job description to decide if it meets your qualifications and career goals.
Do I have to register to view current job openings?
No. You can view current openings without registering. However, you must register in order to apply for a particular position or use the search features.
How do I apply for a job at Grant PUD?
We no longer accept printed application forms. We only accept applications through the electronic system. Click the Apply Now button at the top of each job description page. All applications submitted on the closing date will be considered for positions. Click on "Employment" within the gcpud.org site to start the application process.

Is an e-mail account required?
An e-mail account or user name is required to establish an account with Grant PUD or apply to a position. However, an e-mail account is best; it allows PUD staff members to communicate with you to let you know we received your application for a specific job, tell you about job opportunities and the status of your application.

If you used an e-mail account to login to the online application process, you will receive an e-mail almost immediately after submitting your application.
What if there isn’t a closing date on the job posting?
The position is considered open indefinitely and can be closed at any time. It is recommended that you apply for positions as soon as possible to avoid missing an opportunity.
