Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a combination of on-the-job training and related classroom instruction under the supervision of a journey-level craft person or trade professional in which workers learn the practical and theoretical aspects of a highly-skilled occupation.

Grant PUD, in agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, fills apprenticeships from inside with employees who have seniority rights. If a position cannot be filled from the inside, it will be posted under the list of all Current Job Openings. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
