Customer Billing
Our bill has a new look – designed with customers in mind.
Focus group participants said they wanted a bill that’s easier to read and understand, clearly shows the payment due date and provides detail of charges in easy terms. We think we’ve accomplished that with this new format.

This redesign is part of the decision to outsource the printing and mailing of customer bills at a cost savings of nearly $30,000 annually.
Billing definitions and terms are printed on the back side of the bill.

Grant PUD Power Sources
The majority of Grant PUD’s power is generated from our own hydropower resources – Wanapum and Priest Rapids dams located on the Columbia
River just down river from Vantage. We also purchase power from the Bonneville Power Administration and the open energy market. These energy purchases include power from resources other than hydropower.
Each year the Washington State Office of Trade and Development publishes fuel mix generation categories and percentage calculations based on data from regional power suppliers. The power generation categories for Grant PUD’s 2011 report are listed here in alphabetical order.
