Get more light from every watt
Replacing your incandescent bulbs with ENERGY STAR qualified CFLs will save you money on your electric bill.
- CFLs use about 75 percent less energy than incandescents.
- One 13 watt CFL is equal to a 60 watt incandescent.
- The average ENERGY STAR qualified CFL is designed to last 8,000 hours - more than seven years based on typical household use. That’s 10 times longer than an incandescent, so you’ll spend less time and money replacing bulbs.
Purchase more CFLs – You can get a $2.50 credit on your electric bill
Don’t wait for other incandescent bulbs in your home to burn out before replacing them with CFLs. In addition to the four free bulbs from Grant PUD, you can purchase CFLs and receive a maximum electric bill credit of $2.50 per bulb. Additional information and the bill credit form can be found here.
