Irrigation Hardware Replacement Incentive
Grant County PUD will test existing irrigation systems
and issue a written report with recommended changes
to irrigation hardware. Making changes such as lower
operating pressure, improving water distribution, increasing
motor and pumping efficiency and matching water application
to crop needs will reduce energy use. Irrigators who
choose to make the recommended changes may be eligible
for an incentive of 20 cents per kWh saved up to 50 percent of the cost of
making the changes.
Irrigation Water Management Program Incentive
This program provides a three-year demonstration of the effectiveness and value
of the Scientific Management and Scheduling of irrigation water application.
Scientific Irrigation Management and Scheduling will save energy, water, chemicals,
and improve ground water quality. Participants may be eligible for incentives
under this program.
