How to Qualify for Energy Star

The Benefits of Owning
an ENERGY STAR Labeled Home

Reduced heating Costs
- Compared with standard code-built homes, ENERGY STAR labeled homes use substantially less energy for heating, cooling and hot water heating. Homeowners can expect to save at least 15 percent on their heating costs.

Nationally Recognized – ENERGY STAR homes are nationally recognized with the ENERGY STAR efficiency certification.

More Comfortable/Quieter Homes – The energy-efficient features of ENERGY STAR labeled homes keep out excessive heat, cold and noise, and ensure consistent temperatures between and across rooms – making these homes more comfortable to live in. An ENERGY STAR home will have less dust and pollens resulting in better indoor air quality.

Help Protect the Environment – You will be contributing to a cleaner environment by using less energy. Buying or building an ENERGY STAR home is like making a down payment on a cleaner world.

Increased Resale Value – Prospective buyers will know they are buying a home that is energy-efficient and built to the highest standards at the time.

Cash incentives are available for both new ENERGY STAR site-built and manufactured homes!
