ENERGY STAR provides consumers with energy-efficient solutions – giving individuals the power to help protect our planet for future generations.

Energy Star, Change for the Better with Energy Star

ENERGY STAR is the government-backed symbol for energy efficiency. Grant County PUD is now an ENERGY STAR partner to help bring energy efficiency to Grant County residents. It identifies new homes and over 30 types of products that are energy efficient without sacrificing the features, quality and personal comfort that today’s consumers expect. Products that earn ENERGY STAR include appliances, lighting, home office equipment, consumer electronics and heating and cooling equipment.

The ENERGY STAR label on a new home means that it is significantly more efficient than a standard home – reducing heating costs by at least 15 percent over standard code-built homes in Grant County.
